ПутешественникI feel the same as Bob - but he was mentioned during the Weimar Insight day we’ve just attended. Apparently, while Isherwood was staying in rooms in a (then) poor part of Berlin, Bacon, age 17, was staying at the Adlon with his tutor who then seduced him. Must have come from a wealthy background.
