National Museum of Archaeology

Okay, this should be the last big museum I'm doing -- but come on, I couldn't forego an archaeology museum. This one has several iconic items, and is especially renowned for its treasury, including the Brooch of Tara, the Ardagh Chalice, St. Patrick's bell and its reliquary shrine, and the Cross of Cong. Also pictured are one of the famous "big bodies" and an equally famous three-faced statue head of a mystery-deity from old Pagan Europe.Weiterlesen
