Knowth

The largest neolithic passage tomb in the world, and also the world's biggest collection of megalithic art. Really neat site! And they're a seasonal site that only allows small groups in for tours at any given time, so you're not rubbernecked in there. While it doesn't have the visual impact of Stonehenge, in some ways it's actually neater because you can actually go right up to touch and experience the structures. Plus, it's even older, and the views from the top of the mound (which you actually get to climb) are spectacular. Really enjoyed this one.もっと詳しく
