Mexico Honeymoon August 2023

What a beautiful place this hotel is. With the emphasis (like their parks) on sustainability and working with the natural environment. The result is a hotel that alongside the normal amenities, such as pools, has rivers, caves and islands running through it. And all of the restaurants are focused on Mexican authentic cuisine, no burgers and chips (thankfully!) to be found anywhere. It also focuses on art and so there is artwork everywhere, plants on every surface and artistic workshops in each of the ‘casa’s’ that make up the hotel.Baca lagi

Our last night and so we chose the restaurant in our hotel (included!!) with the Mexican tasting menu. 10 courses by a Michelin star chef, a show in the background looking at Mayan culture and then two people playing the glass bottles. A fantastic way to end our honeymoon. Flight home tomorrow evening :(.Baca lagi
