Snow fight

Snowmobiling today on Langjokull glacier. After putting on snow suits and helmets we drove in a converted bus up to the glacier. We got a quick lesson in driving the snowmobile (lean in to the direction of steering or it topples!) and then we were off. It was surprisingly hard to control the snowmobile but amazing once we got up to the snow. We stopped for a snowball fight (which the guides enthusiastically participated in) and then sped back at up to 30km/hour. We checked out Gullfoss waterfall which was big, impressive and wet, and then on the way back had a soak in the Secret Lagoon (which is a secret that seems to have got out...!).Baca selengkapnya
