El Vendrell town by bus!

The town is 10 minutes away by bus. A cooler day so good for a tramp about. First stop was the 17th century church and the surrounding area. There was a funeral happening/ finishing so we did not linger too long. The pics will give an indication of the interior. As we wandered round the immediate area, we came across many murals. Some on houses, some on walls of other buildings. The town is a little gem! The properties are mainly original, most with balconies. Winding streets. Totally charming and very Spanish. Had the feel of being lost in time.
We had a rest in Placa Nova coffee and croissant. In the square is a sculpture of Pau Casals seated with his cello. He is a famous son of the area. We managed to fit in a bit of shopping before we went in search of the bus home to Coma Ruga. Had tapas for dinner in one of the few restaurants still open. Very windy as we walked back.
