KK Day 2 To Chikatsuyu

This mostly downhill day was very challenging on the legs. 2/3rds of the way through Poncho was required. It was cold and wet and there were small hailstones but the beauty of the towering forests was exhilarating. Descending to the village of Chikatsuyu we collected the key to Momiji-no-sato, a small home decorated with multiple Japanese quilts.
