Americamura & Hozenji Temple, Osaka

On the way to modern Americamura or America Village we passed through a train station Art Park, a wonderful opportunity for art education. Famous artworks were replicated on ceramic tiles donated by the Art Gallery of Chicago. Edgy Americamura made me wonder what the Japanese really thought of the Allied Occupation Forces post WWII. We walked back via the busy but very atmospheric Hozenji Temple to revisit it in the dark before a delicious dinner of sashimi, edamame and tempura at a local restaurant.
