Day 3 - settling in

Maybe part of the jetlag, but despite an early night (8.30pm), we were both awake by the early hours. Went for a walk with Ellie to the local green space (Carine), which was really lovely. Spacious, lots of different birds and bird sounds - did we hear the laughing kookaburra? Plus 'beware the snakes' signs. In the afternoon, we popped to the local retail park for a wander (2 minutes up the road). Including Aldis, McDonald's, Woolworths etc). Also popped to a lovely shopping mall so that Helen could sort her Rayban sunglasses. In the evening, we went to Froth ( north beach) for a beer and some lovely pizza 🍕 before another early nightLue lisää
