Day 20 - Valley of the giants

Left the site early to get to the walk early. Relatively quiet, so good timing. Once we were on the walkway and moving upwards, Mark was beginning to worry his panic behaviour would set in, but we overcame it and reached the 40m high point. Wow, how amazing to experience the majesty of these trees up high! Did the low level walk as well. Almost got lost worrying about fuel on the way back, but made it to Pemberton. Spotted a WALES caravan in the car park and chatted to the guy from Llanelli who has lived here for 15 years. Then chatted to some older couples in the hotel, the sisters having moved over in the early 70s as girls. Lovely people again. Managed to get a cancellation in Augusta and made it there for a pint over the estuary. Watched a tiny bit of Gavin and Stacey, then bed.
