Day 2 Reaching the heights

Got the train into the embankment, then walked to Gabriel's wharf for a coffee, then onto the lovely Borough Market. Had a pint looking at the imposing Shard that we were about to ascend. Grabbed some seafood wraps then up we went to see the Bridget Jones flat above the Globe pub, then up the shard. Spectacular and well worth it. Managed to get 2 champagnes each from our £51 entrance fee! 🥂. Watched France destroy Ireland in a local pub. Wales were looking poor against Scotland, so headed back to the Tabard where we saw Wales had mounted a comeback. Back home to freshen up then back to the Tabard where there was a not so good singerLeia mais
