Day 1 Da Hem & Chiswick

After intros to our Housesitters, we got a cab to the station and had time for a quick freshener. Into London then over to Chinatown for a beer at Da Hems and some grub, then over to Chiswick. A swiftness in the Tabard, then into the packhorse where there was a great singer and Charlie and Meredith joined usBaca lagi

Day 2 Reaching the heights

Got the train into the embankment, then walked to Gabriel's wharf for a coffee, then onto the lovely Borough Market. Had a pint looking at the imposing Shard that we were about to ascend. Grabbed some seafood wraps then up we went to see the Bridget Jones flat above the Globe pub, then up the shard. Spectacular and well worth it. Managed to get 2 champagnes each from our £51 entrance fee! 🥂. Watched France destroy Ireland in a local pub. Wales were looking poor against Scotland, so headed back to the Tabard where we saw Wales had mounted a comeback. Back home to freshen up then back to the Tabard where there was a not so good singerBaca lagi

Day 3 the Lion King

Jumped off the tube at St James Park and saw the changing of the guard near the Palace. Walked into Chinatown and Soho and had a pint before discovering the Seven Dials food hall, having just walked past Gok Wan and his dog Dolly. The Lion King 🦁 was fab, although we both struggled to stay awake. Had a beer in the Lamb and flag (circa 1600s known as the Bucket of blood!), then back to Chiswick for a meal at Cote. Rubbish mussels so got refunded. Home to bed knackeredBaca lagi
