    Tsitsernakaberd is a place that evokes deep emotions and sadness. Located on a hill overlooking Yerevan, Armenia, it is a solemn memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

    The centerpiece of Tsitsernakaberd is the towering genocide memorial, consisting of a 44-meter stele symbolizing the rebirth of the Armenian people, surrounded by 12 slabs leaning inward, representing the 12 lost provinces of historic Armenia.
