Rain, rain go away

A cold, windy, soggy day of city exploring. Emmit and Josie led us through the NY subway system, but everything seemed further away than the map. Grand Central Station was a highlight. Everyone was a trooper trekking through Central Park. We soaked in the views from Belvedere Castle- literally. Then we reigned in our fears of hailing a cap- 5 passengers in a CR-V, fahgetaboutit! Columbia was windy and cold but boasts amazing libraries and architecture. A quaint campus on the upper west side with the nearby benefits of NYC. We went to the kids favorite restaurant, V Black Tap, for dinner. Known for their mega shakes, we enjoyed the 90s boombox music vibes.Read more
