The weather was up to its usual tricks, starting off with hope then pouring for at least half of our day out.
Skye's scenery is beautiful.
While the weather held we took a detour to the fairy pools.

Ring of Brodgar

There are only 26 of the 60 standing stones left. They form a circle surrounded by a hedge ( ditch) . Each stone is exactly 6 ° apart. It dates back to between 2600 -2000 BC

To celebrate fathers day we decided to have morning tea on the Royal Yatch Britannia. You get an audio guide which tells you about life on board while you walk around the yatch.
