Der erste Schock war ein wenig überwunden, wenn auch nicht völlig. Aber dennoch finden wir es hier ziemlich cool. Wir trafen Björn, Oles Cousin. Wir besuchten den wunderschönen botanischen Garten von Melbourne, der keineswegs überfüllt ist, wie die Parks in Berlin. Außerdem waren wir auf dem Queen Victoria Market, der super voll war mit internationalem Essen und vielen vielen Menschen. Es gab auch einen polnischen Pierogi-Stand. Wir waren am riesigen Kilda Strand, es war ziemlich kalt, aber schön. Ach es ist schon schön hier. In der Stadtmitte ist der Tram-Ring kostenlos, für alle Menschen, der Hammer. Und das coolste…wir haben endlich unseren langersehnten Corona- Booster erhalten. Oh Mann, es kann so einfach sein. Die Impfungen sind für alle Menschen kostenlos, egal wo man herkommt, man kann sich den Impfstoff aussuchen und bekommt die Dosis direkt in der Apotheke gespritzt. Die Mitarbeiter sind so nett und überaus freundlich….wir kamen aus dem Grinsen nicht mehr raus. Wir haben nun ein komplettes australisches Impfzertifikat, digital und in Papierform und können ohne Test, ohne Probleme und vor allem OHNE Quarantäne nach Deutschland zurück. Selbst einen Stempel und einen Impfsticker haben wir uns, für die Deutschen, ins gelbe Impfbuch geben lassen, damit man uns das auch ja glaubt. Ach schön.

Początkowy szok został nieco przezwyciężony, jeśli nie całkowicie. Ale nadal uważamy, że jest tu całkiem fajnie. Spotkaliśmy Björna, kuzyna Ole. Odwiedziliśmy piękny ogród botaniczny w Melbourne, który wcale nie jest przepełniony jak parki w Berlinie. Poszliśmy również na Queen Victoria Market, który był bardzo zajęty międzynarodowym jedzeniem i mnóstwem ludzi. Nie zabrakło również stoiska z polskimi pierogami. Zatrzymaliśmy się na ogromnej plaży Kilda, było dość zimno, ale pięknie. Och, miło tu. W centrum miasta pierścień tramwajowy jest bezpłatny, dla każdego, super. A najfajniejsza rzecz... w końcu otrzymaliśmy nasz długo oczekiwany booster Corona. O rany, to może być takie proste. Szczepienia są bezpłatne dla każdego, bez względu na to, skąd pochodzisz, możesz wybrać szczepionkę i otrzymać dawkę wstrzykiwaną bezpośrednio w aptece. Pracownicy są bardzo mili i niezwykle przyjaźni... nie mogliśmy przestać się uśmiechać. Mamy teraz kompletną australijską kartę szczepień, w formie elektronicznej i papierowej, i możemy wrócić do Niemiec bez testu, bez żadnych problemów, a przede wszystkim BEZ kwarantanny. Mieliśmy nawet pieczątkę i naklejkę ze szczepieniami w żółtej książeczce szczepień dla Niemców, żeby ludzie nam uwierzyli. Och, miło.

The initial shock was somewhat overcome, if not entirely. But still, we think it's pretty cool here. We met Björn, Ole's cousin. We visited the beautiful botanical garden in Melbourne, which is by no means overcrowded like the parks in Berlin. We also went to the Queen Victoria Market which was super busy with international food and lots and lots of people. There was also a Polish Pierogi stand. We stayed at the huge Kilda beach, it was pretty cold but beautiful. Oh it's nice here. In the city center, the tram ring is free, for everyone, awesome. And the coolest thing... we finally received our long-awaited Corona booster. Oh man, it can be so easy. The vaccinations are free for everyone, no matter where you come from, you can choose the vaccine and get the dose injected directly at the pharmacy. The employees are so nice and extremely friendly...we couldn't stop grinning. We now have a complete Australian vaccination certificate, digital and in paper form, and can return to Germany without a test, without any problems and above all WITHOUT quarantine. We even had a stamp and a vaccination sticker put in the yellow vaccination book for the Germans, so that people would believe us. Oh, nice.Read more
