Natürlich wollten wir auch nach Sydney. Wegen der berühmten Oper und wegen Dorie, natürlich. Mehr wollte Moni auch nicht sehen. Zum Glück ist die schöne Harbour Bridge(Hafenbrücke) direkt daneben. Das Opernhaus von Sydney gehört seid 2007 zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe und ist auch auf der Australian National Heritage List. Auch die Harbour Bridge ist seit ihren 75. Geburtstag, 2007, auf der Australian Heritage List. Sie verbindet die Nordküste und die Südküste Sydneys. Von den Einheimischen wird die Hafenbrücke „coat hanger“ (Kleiderbügel) genannt, sie steht für moderne Entwicklung und die strahlende Zukunft Australiens, wie romantisch😆 Sydney ist die Hauptstadt des Staates New South Wales, NICHT von Australien. Das wiederum ist Canberra, von dessen Besichtigung uns alle abgeraten haben, ok. Also Sydney hat ca. 5 Mio. Einwohner auf ca. 12.400 km/2 und ist somit momentan die größte Stadt Australiens. Tatsächlich liefern sich hier Sydney und Melbourne hier immer mal wieder ein Kopf-an-Kopf Rennen und tauschen Platz eins und zwei. Berlin hat, zum Vergleich, ca. 3,8 Mio. Einwohner auf ca. 900 km/2. Nur zur Vorstellung: Sydney hat für ca. 30% mehr Einwohner als Berlin knapp das 14-fache an Fläche zur Verfügung. Kein Wunder, dass die Berliner so gestresst sind Tatsächlich hat die Stadt Sydney auch noch mehr zu bieten als Oper und Hafenbrücke. So gibt es zum Beispiel wunderschöne Wege, die an der Küste, an Klippen und an Stränden entlang führen und zu ausgiebigen Spaziergängen einladen. Sydney gilt als eine der Städte mit der höchsten Lebensqualität weltweit. Im CBD = Central Business District, also im Zentrum ist die Tram übrigens für jeden kostenlos…das ist echt cool.

Oczywiście chcieliśmy też pojechać do Sydney. Ze względu na słynną operę i oczywiście ze względu na Dorie. Moni też nie chciała widzieć więcej. Na szczęście tuż obok znajduje się piękny most Harbour Bridge. Opera w Sydney została wpisana na Listę Światowego Dziedzictwa UNESCO od 2007 roku i znajduje się również na australijskiej Liście Dziedzictwa Narodowego. Most Harbour znajduje się również na liście dziedzictwa australijskiego od swoich 75. urodzin w 2007 roku. Most łączy północne i południowe wybrzeże Sydney, oprócz tego jest nazywany przez miejscowych "wieszakiem na płaszcze", reprezentuje nowoczesny rozwój i świetlaną przyszłość Australii, jakże romantyczną😆 Sydney jest stolicą stanu Nowa Południowa Walia, NIE Australii. To z kolei Canberra, której wszyscy odradzali odwiedzić, ok.
Tak więc Sydney ma około 5 milionów mieszkańców na około 12 400 km/2 i jest obecnie największym miastem Australii. W rzeczywistości Sydney i Melbourne od czasu do czasu ścierają się tutaj i zamieniają pierwsze i drugie miejsce. Dla porównania Berlin ma ok. 3,8 mln mieszkańców na ok. 900 km/2. Żeby dać ci wyobrażenie: Sydney ma około 14 razy większą powierzchnię dostępną dla około 30% więcej mieszkańców niż Berlin. Nic dziwnego, że berlińczycy są tak zestresowani. W rzeczywistości miasto Sydney ma do zaoferowania więcej niż opera i most portowy. Na przykład piękne ścieżki, które prowadzą wzdłuż wybrzeża, klifów i plaż, zachęcają do długich spacerów. Sydney jest uważane za jedno z miast o najwyższej jakości życia na świecie. W CBD = Central Business District, czyli w centrum, tramwaj jest bezpłatny dla wszystkich...to naprawdę super.

Of course we also wanted to go to Sydney. Because of the famous opera and because of Dorie, of course. Moni didn't want to see more either. Luckily the beautiful Harbor Bridge is right next to it. The Sydney Opera House has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007 and is also on the Australian National Heritage List. The Harbor Bridge has also been on the Australian Heritage List since its 75th birthday in 2007. It connects the north coast and the south coast of Sydney. In fact, the city Sydney has more to offer than the opera and harbor bridge. For example, there are beautiful paths that lead along the coast, cliffs and beaches and invite you to take long walks. Sydney is considered one of the cities with the highest quality of life in the world.
