Seefin Passage Tomb

A morning trek up the boggy hills, over all heather bushes, pinks, purples, greens, to the peak of Seefin & more importantly to the Seefin Passage Tomb.

A cairn which was built around 3,300BC. A megalithic tomb in the heart of Wicklow. We encountered three Irish lads at the top casually smoking pipes and chatting. All taking in the surrounding wicklow hills and the Blessington lake.

We headed back to Glencullen as Mollys wasp sting (which happened Wednesday after mushroom foraging) was seeming to get worse rather than better… so we returned to base camp to tend to the wounded!Read more
