Skelligs from afar

Further around the Beara we went, and found a perfect place to park up for the evening! With a view over to the Skelligs, Cork on our left, Kerry across the water to our right…rocky wild landscape dropping below us into the calm blue sea. Dalmatian legged sheep (who knows the species?!) wandered the land, bleating next to us between chewing the tufts of grasses , yellow gorse and pink/purple Heather’s again fill the land with colour! Few cars pass the road near us…we remain undisturbed save for the wind which got a tad blustery by morning…the islands and surrounding peninsulas still visible as we woke!Läs mer
