Vigeland park 3

Now for the main sculpture. Done in granite. First is the ironwork gate. There is one on all 4 sides, each different. There are about 40 or individual sculptures around the central carved column. (I'm tempted to call it an obelisk.) This work is certainly about the human form, but just as much about life and emotion. Needless to say, I was quite taken by this park.Read more
