    Small town in North central Finland. Administrative center for Finnish Lapland. Labels itself Santa's home town. I didn't visit any of the Santa stuff, though there is plenty here. Pics are of the town. The cable stayed bridge, called Lumberjack's Candle because of the lights on the towers, has become a symbol for the town. There is a pic of the river and of Lordes Square, the center of town. The most interesting place is the Arkticum, a museum and science center focused on all things arctic.Read more
