San Felipe

The hilltop fortress protecting Cartagena. Started in the late 16th century and expanded in the 17th. Never captured. The first pic looks at the fort from a distance. Then some pictures of various parts of the fort. The bell was the alarm when enemies were sighted. The last pic is of the barracks, now a series of shops.Baca lagi
