    Incan village known for textiles. The first 2 pics are of a textiles demonstration by local descendants of the Incas. Then a village street and some of the ruins uncovered.

    Finally is a picture taken between Chinchero and Maras of an archaeological site. You can see the Incan terraces for agriculture. The buildings to the left are granaries. The Inca understood well local microclimates, and located all facilities to rake advantage of the gifts Pachamama gave, including using clinate to optimize storage.Read more
