    Pronounced More-aye, this is an astounding place. Here the Incan were way ahead of Europe scientifically. They would bring seeds from all over their empire and work to domesticate and acclimatize crops for differing microclimates. This way, they adapted plant species to the many elevations, valleys and all the rest. It is said that had as many as 3,000 varieties of potatoes alone. They did likewise with many others.
