Small town near the salt flats. Also we were told that the world's largest lithium mine is nearby. The salt flats flood in the rainy season and dry out in the dry season. So the town is very dry and dusty as most of what rain they get occurs in the mountains and drains into the flats. Thus, their train cemetery is here. Bolivia was still running steam engines until 1974 when they switched to diesel. Hence all the old 19th century equipment. The last 2 pictures are up the road towards the salt.
