    Old city from the early 16th century near where Europeans first set foot in Brazil. The city's wealth was built on sugar cane. The pics start with an overview of Olinda. Next is the cathedral where Don Hélder Cámara was bishop. The altar was exhibited at the Guggenheim in NYC not too long ago. Then some street scenes. The houses are painted bright colors because in the days before house numbers, buildings were identified by color here.Read more
