Old town Baku, Azerbaijan

Baku is the capital of Azerbaijan. The old city is beautiful and fun. The city wall is still present, and there aren't any obviously new buildings inside the wall. Most everything has been restored and/repurposed. Great place.
First is a look from stop the Maiden Tower shown in the second pic. This tower dates back more than 2,000 years. Next are the ruins of St. Bart's Russian Orthodox Church, destroyed by the Soviets.
