    Bodbe Monastery

    Built on the site where Saint Nino who brought Orthodoxy to Georgia in the 4th century is buried. The Saint Nino came here from Cappadocia. Her cross had downward sloping arms, said to have been made when she lashed the arm to the upright using her hair.
    This is an active nunnery. The pictures are of the churches and iconostases. The last is the current tomb of St. Nino.
