    Yala National Park

    Second safari in Sri Lanka. I did see a leopard, but it was in the trees and moving. So no picture, much to my chagrin. However, the other rare critter in the park is the sloth bear, in the first picture. Next is the jungle cock, the national bird of Sri Lanka. Then a herd of sambal deer. Note the males with antlers.
