Malacca

Former trading town found by the Portuguese, taken over by the Dutch and finally the British until independence, and the name of the strait that is a major sea route from East Asia to the Indian Ocean.
The 1st picture looks at the Dutch city hall and clock tower dating to the 17th century. The 2nd picture looks down the main Dutch street near the city hall.
