    As a port, many religions are present and coexist without problems. The 1st picture is the 18th century Dutch Church, still an active congregation. 2nd is the remains of the 16th century Portuguese church. The next 3 are all on the same street. These are a Taoist temple (Chinese), a mosque and a Hindu temple (Indian). The population here is a mix of Malay, Chinese and Indian.Read more
