Day 2 slow boat to Laos.

We had an early start and on to the boat we went. Rather chilly this morning but a hot beverage made it a bit more tolerable. We visited another village were they showed us that young teak leaves make a red dye for your lips and a rice whiskey 🥃 that has quite a bite ! You might just lose your sight for a couple days and maybe a few memories as well. I have another footprint for caves.
We are slowly entering the Luang Prabang as the sun is setting. The boats are scattered over the river as we enter and I feel like the female star in the titanic movie 🎥. Then suddenly our captain scares the crap out of me by honking the horn for the other boats to get out of our way. So much for that fantasy. 😂Read more
