Bites, Brews, and Butchart (2)

After the tour, we went to Whistle Buoys to grab a quick pint and watch the busker festival as it was such a gorgeous afternoon.

We then walked to over to where our car was p arked and drove out to Butchart Gardens. Evan was very excited to be back in our “sexy beast” of a vehicle. The drive took about half an hour and when we finally arrived we could not believe how busy it was! The parking lot was quite full and had several white gloves attendants telling you where to go. When we got in, we quickly realized what all the fuss was about - it was so beautiful! Butchart is basically a Disneyland for gardeners. My flower and plant knowledge is quite basic, so I can’t really comment on the types, but I will saw the rose garden was a real showstopper!Read more
