Day 1 lukla to phakding

Today, after a couple of hours’ wait by ourselves on the middle of an airport tarmac surrounded by helicopters and big planes (aviation safety 🤔), we departed for Lukla to begin our trek. We had an awesome helicopter flight; the scenery was spectacular. Our walk to Phakding was around 10km and wasn’t too strenuous. The scenery was amazing; so far, the weather hasn’t been too chilly.
