The Historic Penn Wells Hotel

Our home for the next couple of days - The Historic Penn Wells Hotel in Wellsboro PA.
The Penn Wells Hotel, built in 1869, is one of Wellsboro’s most historic landmarks. The current building, which was restored in the 1920s.
it has 70 character-filled guest rooms of varying sizes and types...and our was probably the smallest :)
The heat is old-style hot water radiators and we were forewarned not to go past 1 on the dial, least "we'd be steamed". Sure enough just with the setting on 1 - in about 1.5 hours it did feel like a steambath:)Read more
