La Sagrada Familia

The Basílica de la Sagrada Família (Basilica of the Holy Family) also known as the Sagrada Família, is a large unfinished Roman Catholic basilica. Designed by Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926), his work on the building is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On November 7th, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI consecrated the church and proclaimed it a minor basilica.
It completely blew us away when we first visited it in November 2019.
No matter how many photos, videos, etc. one can take - it simply does not do the place justice! As I have been telling folks the 1st thing that flashed through my mind upon entering it was "Thine be the Glory"Leggi altro
