Sant Miquel Beach is situated between the beaches Sant Sebastià and Barceloneta. It was transformed into a beach in 1755 and is one of the oldest of the city.

Most of the day was spent here just soaking up the sun and enjoying the scenery.

Traveler The fish statue was built for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. It was designed by a Canadian architect Frank Gehry who was born in Toronto in 1932 and currently lives in Los Angeles. His best known works include the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao (Spain) and The Experience Music Project in Seattle (USA)
