The Colloseum and other sites!

Today we walked over 14 thousand steps after our taxi ride to the colosseum. Wow! It's big. I am glad I got to see inside. It is humbling thinking of the people sacrificed there, with 80,000 people cheering for your death. We went to the Roman forum next. Could not find where they held Apostle Paul and possibly Peter. It mentions the prison but we couldn't find it. Lunch was at Il Chianti. Delicious carbanera and wine. We marched across town to see Trevi Fountain after lunch and then 15 minutes later we saw the Spanish steps. Ronna and I walked to the top. It does have a view. Running out of time we were able to squeeze in the Parthenon. Another 15 minute walk. The Panthenon was more spectacular than I was expecting. I'm glad we bought tickets to go inside.
