Boston "Walk to the sea"

From downtown I did the "walk to the sea". Passing several landmarks and signs, it goes from the State House (seat of the federal government) to the old harbor. Boston is a port city and everywhere in and around the water are small parks and sports facilities. You are accompanied by seagulls throughout. And there are many floating museums and landmarks, for example the old sailing ship USS Constitution and a WWII destroyer, the USS Cassin Young. And, of course, Red was there, too.

Von Downtown aus habe ich den "Walk to the sea" gemacht. An mehreren Sehenswürdigkeiten und Hinweisschildern vorbei geht es vom State House (Sitz der Bundesregierung) zum alten Hafen. Boston ist eine Hafenstadt und überall im und am Wasser sind kleine Parks und Sportanlagen. Man wird durchgehend von Möwen begleitet. Und es gibt viele schwimmende Museen und Sehenswürdigkeiten, zum Beispiel das alte Segelschiff USS Constitution und einen Zerstörer aus dem zweiten Weltkrieg, die USS Cassin Young.
