First Steps in Washington DC

I start from the hotel in the direction of the White House. Past a few churches and the first equestrian statue. You immediately get a different feeling in this city than in New York City or Philadelphia. People wear fancy clothes and suits. They move much faster. And are either on the phone or engrossed in deep conversations with each other. The traffic is also very different. There is no honking, the streets are emptier, and there are almost only fancy, big, polished cars driving through the streets. I have also discovered street art, but was unfortunately already everything for the day, also it does not fit right here.

Los geht's vom Hotel Richtung dem Weißen Haus. Vorbei an ein paar Kirchen und der ersten Reiterstatue. Man hat in dieser Stadt sofort ein anderes Gefühl als in New York City oder Philadelphia. Die Menschen tragen schicke Kleider und Anzüge. Sie bewegen sich viel schneller. Und sind entweder am Telefon oder untereinander in tiefgründige Gespräche vertieft. Auch der Verkehr ist ganz anders. Es wird nicht gehupt, die Straßen sind leerer, und es fahren fast nur schicke, große, geputzte Autos durch die Straßen. Ich habe auch direkt wieder Streetart entdeckt, war aber leider auch schon alles für den Tag, passt auch nicht so richtig hierher.もっと詳しく
