The U.S. Capitol

We have all seen the U.S. Capitol in the news at the latest thanks to the last president and his order for storming by his supporters. Again, fences and guards, the usual picture in Washington. The building is imposing like all the others. And when you turn around and look back at the park and the obelisk, you only realize how vast it all is (and how much I walked).

Das U.S. Capitol haben wir ja alle spätestens dank dem letzten Präsidenten und seiner befohlenen Erstürmung durch seine Anhänger alle schon in den Nachrichten gesehen. Auch hier wieder Zäune und Wachen, das gewohnte Bild in Washington. Das Gebäude ist imposant wie alle anderen. Und wenn man sich umdreht und zurück auf den Park und den Obelisken guckt, dann weiß man erst, wie weitläufig das alles ist (und wieviel ich gelaufen bin).Lue lisää
