Boat trip Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway

We met with Karl's friends at the marina. They reserved a boat for us for a short trip on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. We drove to the Kona Bay Cafe for breakfast and back to the marina. We had awesome weather, a beautiful view on all the fancy houses and boats. The breakfast was really good. The tide was height for our days in south Florida, so all the next days we had high water everywhere. So here too when we tried to get back on the boat the parking lot next to the cafe was flooded.

Wir trafen uns mit Karls Freunden am Yachthafen. Sie hatten für uns ein Boot für eine kurze Fahrt auf dem Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway reserviert. Wir fuhren zum Kona Bay Cafe zum Frühstück und zurück zum Yachthafen. Wir hatten herrliches Wetter und einen schönen Blick auf all die schicken Häuser und Boote. Das Frühstück war wirklich gut. Die Flut war für unsere Tage in Südflorida sehr hoch, so dass wir die nächsten Tage überall Hochwasser hatten. So auch hier, als wir versuchten, wieder auf das Boot zu kommen, war der Parkplatz neben dem Café überflutet.もっと詳しく
