Royal Palm Visitor Center &Anhinga Trail

If you have just one hour in the Everglades, this is a great place to stop. Ranger-led walks and talks are conducted here. The visitor center here includes a small bookstore, restrooms and vending machines. The Gumbo Limbo trail through the forest is not that interesting, but the Anhinga trail next to the pit is fantastic. We saw crocodiles, turtles, fish, birds, and the beautiful everglades nature.
