The White House. And the first time the feeling of being watched. Cameras, policemen, and Secret Service everywhere. Some of the guards are obviously in uniform and their cars are marked, but others can only be recognized by their look and the button in their ear, and some probably not at all. Also the monochrome, large cars with tinted windows are regularly seen standing somewhere in Washington. There are many closed roads. Many paths and parks are surrounded by mobile fences. The whole thing exudes power, but also control and danger. And if you've watched all the movies like "White House Down" like I have, then you also flinch when a garbage truck suddenly turns the corner.

Das Weiße Haus. Und das erste Mal das Gefühl beobachtet zu werden. Überall Kameras, Polizisten, und Secret Service. Die Wachleute stehen zum Teil ganz offensichtlich in Uniform und beschrifteten Autos da, zum Teil erkennt man Sie aber nur an ihrem Blick und dem Knopf im Ohr, und zum Teil wahrscheinlich gar nicht. Auch die einfarbigen, großen Autos mit den getönten Scheiben sieht man regelmäßig irgendwo in Washington stehen. Es gibt viele gesperrte Straßen. Viele Wege und Parks sind von mobilen Zäunen umstellt. Das ganze strahlt Macht aus, aber auch Kontrolle und Gefahr. Und wenn man wie ich alle Filme wie zum Beispiel "White House Down" geguckt hat, dann zuckt man auch, wenn auf einmal ein Müll-Laster um die Ecke gebogen kommt.En savoir plus
