Georgetown Street Art

The town is a canvas for the people. Just a ferry ride from the mainland, found on the northern coast of Penang Island, Malaysia, boasts possibly one of the funkiest towns I've ever been to. Bursting with interesting architecture, old colonial buildings, rare book shops, quirky cafés and incredible food (Penang is known for its delicious and varied cuisines). It's hardly surprising the town is classed as a UNESCO world heritage site with all of this, plus lots of interesting street art done over shop fronts, side streets, doorways...and practically any wall someone has been able to get their paint on.
