Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana

Happy Thanksgiving! Everyone was up by half nine and ready for an adventure by 10:45. We all left for the Poolbeg lighthouse, a journey which Google Maps told us would take 2 hours to walk. What we didn’t know until later was the route took us past both a wastewater and a gas treatment plant. After a half hour that smelled worse than teen spirit, we endured the wind of the seawall leading to the lighthouse. Almost blowing away, we eventually made it back to Sandymount for a late lunch. Dad and Sarah ran home from the cafe, leaving the rest of us to catch up with them at home. We threw in the turkey and spent the evening creating our feast. My pumpkin pie which followed the meal was arguably the best part, and we spent the hours after chatting. Side note: there was a riot downtown tonight. Gulp.En savoir plus
