We’re Here — Barcelona

Another airport misadventure finding our driver at the airport but he found us and was very nice. Our first impression of the city: old and new. Some iconic architecture among modern glass buildings. The city is alive and the luxury brands take center stage. Our hotel is a little small so we’ll see. We ventured out on the streets of Barcelona with a long walk to Ciudad Condal. It reputedly serves the best tapas in Spain. We had cabreaos style eggs, hot green peppers, fried laminated artichokes, tomato bread and fish. Thanks to Dawn Booker for the recommendation!
