Mendoza vineyard tour en bici

The day started very well with a gentle cycle to Familia Cassone Vineyard for a delicious wine tasting and tour. A few Malbecs, Cabernets, and blends later, helped down by homemade bread & olive oil we belatedly departed. With hundreds of vineyards, we thought from here it would be a an easy cruise back through vineyards of our choice … however we quickly discovered that it wouldn’t be so simple. Our lack of pre-booking and the extended Easter Holiday meant that the most were fully booked and without reservation we weren’t even allowed through the front gates, even for a quick glass! As we frantically went from vineyard to vineyard in search of the next drink, it was looking like it could be a very sober and short lived wine tour, but we need’t have worried and after a few glasses at Pulmary Bodega, we managed to tag on to some Argentinians who had a tour booked at Clos de Chacras. Once we’d snuck through the main gate, we were told the official tasting was fully booked; instead they gave us each a glass and able to go through their entire wine list, while sitting in the sun by the lake for the rest of the day 👌

Luckily it was a very short way back the airbnb, albeit pushing not riding the bikes…Meer informatie
