St Peters Basillica

We had the absolute pleasure of visiting St Peter's Basillica at the Vatican on Saturday. They did not allow photos inside but with everyone disregarding this Emily managed to snap a few photos. This was one of the most beautiful and stunning Basillica's we've seen. After seeing the first floor we went down into the tomb where many popes and saints have been laid to rest. St. Peter's tomb is alleged near the west end of a complex of mausoleums that date between about AD 130 and AD 300.Lue lisää
