PADRON TO PICARNAÑA

A nice short walk of 10km today to leave 16km tomorrow until Santiago de Compostela.
The first 7-8 km of the walk today were mainly beside the road or through some villages.
The last 2 km were back on nice trails through some vineyards before reaching my accommodation for the night.
I had two negative experiences today:
1) At the first stop of the day, the bar was charging everyone 1 euro to use the toilets even if you were a customer.
2) The second was I ordered a pizza at lunch (15 Euro), and it was quite obvious that it was a frozen pizza. The taste was terrible.
However, my faith was returned in the evening as I ate at a nice Taberna and got a nice meal at a good price.Read more
